Nail Salon Hub

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

This policy explains how the Nail Salon Hub customer app and related web services use personal information. Nail Salon Hub connects customers with salon-specific loyalty programmes while keeping each salon's customer relationship and loyalty data isolated from other salons.

Information we use

We use account information such as your profile name, email address, authentication details and account identifiers so you can create and securely access your Nail Salon Hub account.

When you follow or join a salon, we keep salon-specific membership and loyalty information such as your membership record, loyalty card access, stamp balance, rewards, visit history and the version of loyalty terms you accepted.

A salon may also hold contact or profile information you provided in that salon relationship, such as a phone number, email address, birthday or notes. That information remains scoped to the relevant salon.

How we use your information

We use account data to authenticate you, recover your account, show your followed salons and loyalty cards, operate loyalty rewards, protect the platform from misuse and provide customer support.

Loyalty data is used to calculate stamps, rewards and card cycles and to provide an audit trail for salon loyalty activity.

Camera and device permissions

The mobile app requests camera access only when you choose to scan a Nail Salon Hub salon QR code. Camera access is not used for advertising or background recording.

Push-notification permission will only be requested when notification features are introduced. Promotional notifications will require a separate salon-specific marketing choice and will not be inferred merely because you follow a salon.

Marketing

Joining a loyalty programme or following a salon does not automatically consent you to promotional marketing. Marketing permissions are treated separately from loyalty participation.

Email consent and future push-marketing consent are separate permissions. The product does not currently plan to use SMS as a marketing channel.

Service providers

Nail Salon Hub currently uses Supabase infrastructure for authentication, database and storage services. Additional providers may be added for functions such as push notifications, crash reporting or store distribution before public release. This policy and store disclosures will be updated when those providers materially affect personal-data handling.

Data sharing and salon isolation

A salon should only be able to access customer records and loyalty activity belonging to that salon. Nail Salon Hub does not intentionally expose one salon's customer relationship, loyalty data or branding to another salon.

We may disclose information where required to comply with law, protect the security of the service or respond to valid legal requests.

Retention and account deletion

You can initiate account deletion in the mobile app from Profile & Settings. Google Play also requires an external web path, so customer-app users can start deletion from our public account-deletion page.

When a customer-app account is deleted, the Nail Salon Hub login and customer-app identity are removed, verified account identifiers are removed, salon personal fields are anonymised, loyalty-card access is revoked and marketing permissions are changed to denied.

Pseudonymous loyalty, reward and visit ledger records may be retained where needed for legitimate salon transaction history, security, dispute handling or audit purposes. Retained records are not intended to preserve the deleted customer's direct contact details.

Security

We use authenticated access controls, tenant isolation and server-side database rules to protect salon and customer data. No internet service can promise absolute security, so we continue to review access controls and release safeguards as the product develops.

Contact and policy updates

Nail Salon Hub is currently in pre-release development at nailsalonhub.co.uk. For support or privacy questions, email support@nailsalonhub.co.uk.

We may update this policy as the product gains features such as push notifications, crash reporting or additional service providers. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
